Server for Urban Terror 4.2
|
I've finally gotten around to creating a server for Urban Terror 4.2. The configration (and password) is the same as the 4.1 server, and you can find the connection details on the server list of [Laus]net.
You should be aware that 4.2 requires you to create an account at theUrban Terror website and use the Game Key you are given when you register.
More information can be found in the manual.
The 4.1 server will remain online for a while to come, until everyone is up to speed with the latest version.

New server hardware
|
Once again [Laus]net has had a hardware upgrade in the shape of this beauty:
It's a HP ProLiant DL-380 G5 med 2 x QuadCore Xeon 2.33 GHz CPUs and (currently) 8 GB RAM and 2 10.000 RPM SAS disks.
This is certainly a boost from the previous server, which had to settle for a dualcore 2.2 GHz CPU and 4 GB RAM.
