Boomtown kills Quake 3
|
It looks like Boomtown decided to pull the plug on their Quake 3 servers after Quake 4 hit the shelves. This also means that they don't provide servers for Quake 3 based mods like Urban Terror. I haven't been able to find an official notice on the Boomtown site, but they've removed Quake 3 from their server list, so I doubt we'll see them online again.
It's a shame to see out old home servers go down, but we have to admit that they've been pretty idle for quite some time now.

Due to some work being done at FROservers, our UrT server has been offline for the last few days. The work is scheduled to end on november 8th, and the server will most likely get a new IP again one of these days.

Laus is shrinking
|
As most of you have probably noted, the UT community has been decreasing in size lately. Many have lost interest and started to play other games instead.
This trend has unfortunately also hit Laus, and that's why we have to say goodbye to Freshman and Pingvin, who was last seen hiding somewhere in the Star Wars universe.
We hope you enjoyed the time with Laus as much as we did, and you're always welcome, should you regain interest
